At Quaystone we believe that children are very much a part of today's church and that they deserve the very best in children's work. We have a variety of activities for children through the week. For more information about any of the activities below please feel free to contact the Church office.
On most Sunday mornings the whole church stays together for the first part of the service that will often include a special time for the children. After about 45 minutes the children will leave to go to either creche for those 3 years old and under or KidZone for those aged 4 to 11.
In KidZone we have a lot of fun together learning to know God better through the Bible, songs, prayer, games, puppets, craft, teaching and discussion. We want to help our children grow in their relationship with God through what Jesus has done and with the help of the Holy Spirit.
On Mondays from 5-6:30pm we have a club for anyone aged 7-11. We have lots of games, craft and other fun activities as well as enjoying "Re:cess Time" when we sing songs and listen to a Bible story while having a drink and some fruit.
Every Thursday during term time, we run dance classes at the Settlement Centre for youngsters of 3 to 11 years of age. There are three classes, Ballet, Tap and Jazz starting at 4.30pm and finishing at 6.10pm. Each class is 30 minutes long and costs £1.50 per class per person or £4 for all three lessons.
No previous dance experience is required and we welcome new membersof all ages. The classes have been running for many years now and are as popular as ever. For more details please ring the church office.
